Seriously, where did November go?

Whoa where have we been?! Just livin' it up at home, that's where :). Once girls' soccer ended we have been seeing a lot more of Sam and it has been nice for our family, to say the least. I think I'm going to have to go backwards a little and work on adding more pictures from November, but here's what we've been up to...

Sam made his first pie (and even added the "J" himself), but don't be too impressed because it was disgusting... we couldn't even finish it. Believe me, Sam says the same thing!

We have been raking a TON of leaves. They are still falling and we can't believe it. Macy just likes to eat them; every single one she can get her hands on.

Macy can now sit unsupported. This girl is not an early one for milestones :). She decided she could sit up and roll to both sides all in the same week.

As she is sitting up so well, we graduated her to a big girl chair. This was her first time sitting in it, which explains why she looks so happy even when she was hungry (the newness of the chair has since worn off and she is back to being impatient for meals).

Macy is not a snuggler, but she was this ONE time... so Sam ran for the camera. We were hanging out before going to bed and Macy thought laying down was okay as long as she could still see her show on the TV.

Ahh, Clowy! We are trying hard to teach Macy how to be soft with poor Clowy. I'm not sure how Clowy's ears are still attached to her head. Macy thinks Clowy is the greatest thing at our house; unfortunately Clowy seems to think the opposite.

So I made an apple pie from scratch (thanks to lots of help) for Thanksgiving. I was a little nervous about having other people besides us try to eat it, but I am proud of myself because it was actually good! Who would have thought?

Thanksgiving! We were lucky enough to spend Thanksgiving with Grandpa Ken. It was a great time and the food was superb.

Macy's first experience playing the piano. She is a dainty player and prefers the high-pitched keys. Very girly...how surprising.

At first Macy wasn't sure about Ken's new puppy, Lexi, but warmed up quickly. That's when Lexi decided she wasn't sure about Macy.

Little family portrait on the way out. Thanks to Ken, Gail and Thomas!

Macy got her first "cold" or something like that. Her nose was disgusting for like a week and we rarely left the house. Here Sam is rocking her, hoping that some of the congestion would drain out of her head.
