She is too kind to pose perfectly for me. Believe it or not this was the first picture I tried to take.
We enjoyed a warm Saturday watching a bit of a soccer game and going out to lunch afterward. Not crazy eventful, but getting out of the house is good enough for us :). And although the gifts were the usual flowers and chocolates (and there are no complaints from me!), the best were the homemade cards Sam and Macy made for me. I pretty much knew what Sam was up to when he said he needed Macy to go and help him make my card... and my suspicions were confirmed when I heard a mad yell coming from downstairs. Sam was trying to trace Macy's hand onto some construction paper and Macy was making it known that she didn't want her hand forced onto anything. I should have taken a picture of the cards because they are so funny. Sam even drew little painted fingernails on Macy's traced, pink construction paper hand. Between that and the card written and drawn with crayons, how could it get any better? 
Grandma, Grandpa and Matthew also came for a visit this weekend. Oh how we love it when they come and chase Macy around for us! Macy is also grateful to hang out with people besides Mom and Dad once and a while. Grandma made these adorable Valentine cookies with Macy's cousins and brought some all the way for us. Thanks for a fun weekend (at least if you call fun hanging out at our house all weekend :) ) and come again soon!

greg totally traced makenna's hand when she was all little like macy! isn't it the cutest thing? don't you love your man so much more when he does crafty stuff like that? sweet. i'm glad you had a nice valentine's day. it was so good to see you the other day when you dropped by. we need to get together. what do you think? love ya.
