Christmas

Sam and I were so excited for Christmas this year. Macy is finally getting to where she understands a little of what's happening and she likes to open gifts... well, we thought she did. I am posting all our pictures, because there weren't that many. And this is the first one. Yes, it is an omen as to what the rest of the day was like.

Sam had to convince her to look in her stocking. Her little morning routine was thrown off and my parents were on webcam. She was a little out of her element for so much action first thing in the morning.

Who doesn't love a good lollipop?

Bubblegum scented bubbles in an ice cream cone. Santa knows Macy's favorite things, that's for sure.

I think Sam had to open the rest of her stocking while she watched.

Nice necklace! There was another China toy scare right after this and I had thrown away all the tags. She's probably getting cancer as we speak.

Macy was DONE with presents after her stocking... and we hadn't even started. So we started letting her open the big items (which we were originally saving for last because we knew she wouldn't open the smaller things if she saw the big things first). Sam and I got Macy a table and chairs.

My parents hooked her up with the fanciest kitchen you've ever seen.

Santa's gift...

A swing/slide!

Perhaps the happiest part of her day.

Instruments. LOUD instruments.

Macy and all her technology. Who doesn't love an audience?

So we had way too many presents for this little one. It was the first Christmas we have spent at our house. Since we didn't have to tote any gifts, we went a little crazy. But we loved being at home. We hung out all day and had some friends over for dinner. We all stayed in our pjs. It was great! Our friend's little 3 year old opened all the rest of Macy's gifts :). It was nice to see someone excited about them!
