Blisters

Pre-lit trees. Do I have to say more? For those of you who don't have one, we will let you in on our painful decorating season this year. If you can't tell what Sam is holding, keep looking...

We replaced probably 250 bulbs on our tree this year. You'd think it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Well, by about the 30th bulb, your fingers start to hurt. Then at 60, you have to take a break. Preferably for days... if you can stand to look at your tree with dark spots all over. Then you start wondering why you just don't replace your tree. Once you have enough calluses to finish the job, the tree looks great. That is, until more bulbs burn out. Then whole strands go out. And that was our Christmas decorating season this year in a nutshell.
